FEATURED ARTIST

The Driftwood Players are pleased to feature paintings and sculpture by Seattle artist, Richard Armstrong during the run of the beautiful play, A Shayna Maidel.

He has received many ribbons and awards, (twice in a row named a top 20 regional artist by AT&T) and sold works on the west coast, and in New York City and Houston. His work ranges from gem and bone jewelry to giant earthworks (Sacramento); from playground sculptures to fine art; and includes watercolor, acrylic, and sculpture in stone, bronze, wood and other mediums. "All of his work is meant to uplift the spirit, to epitomize the noble, while exploring from the soulful nature of the sub-conscious to the whimsical."

Mr. Armstrong holds BA in industrial design, spent a year at Rudolph Steiner Art College, and later received a Masters in Humanities/Art from Cal State.
