The Driftwood Players are pleased to feature art works by artist Virginia Giles during the run of The Mystery of Irma Vep.
While composing abstract works in a variety of mediums, Ms. Giles' art reflects her basic life focuses of faith and family in the interwoven designs. She adopted Seattle as home after her husband came to the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in 1999 for a bone marrow transplant, which saved his life.
She received her BA in fine arts from Arkansas Tech University, has taught art, and had numerous exhibits and awards in Arkansas, as well as exhibiting at the Seattle Cancer Lifeline Art Exhibit in both 2001 and 2002. She has a drawing in the book, Beyond Cancer, by Cancer Lifeline, Oct. 2002.
Ms. Giles’ works may be viewed in the lobby from one hour before all performances of The Mystery of Irma Vep.
