The Driftwood Players are pleased to feature works by watercolor artist, Ruth Handewith on display in the theatre lobby during the run of Same Time, Next Year. A longtime resident of the northwest, Ms. Handewith has been working in watercolors since 1980, and finds her inspiration in the florals and scenery of the area. Whenever possible, she works outdoors, interpreting natural forms. Her passion for the watercolor medium reaches out to those who view her art. Her work is regularly displayed at Gallery North, in Edmonds and at Seattle Co-Arts’ venues: Northwest Hospital, Seattle Breast Center, and Valley Medical Breast Center. Also an associate of the Northwest Watercolor Society, she has exhibited in their “Waterworks” juried shows at various locations.
